Summary:

This book is dedicated to all the young girls and women who by no fault of their own experience condemnation, anger, low self-esteem, rejection, and abandonment. These young women may not have had a Father-Figure in their lives. There may have been absentee Fathers from which they could not glean self-esteem.

“Misunderstood My Destiny, ” is a book that author Pastor Maria Taylor show’s you six obstacles that she overcame as a teenager and young adult growing up without a father figure in her life.  We have all heard the stories and practically know them by heart, but this one is different.  Pastor Taylor has a powerful women’s ministry, through which she’s now slaying the devil’s head off with no mercy by helping young girls and women overcome these same obstacles she went through in her early life.  These obstacles, changed her life forever, inside and out and propelled her into her destiny that God called her to walk boldly in today.

This book is nothing but the truth — sweet and straight to the point — about the challenges girls go through when they don’t have an earthly father or father figure around for guidance.   I recommend this book to all who have fallen off the path or who didn’t know their path in life.  I’m also in agreement with Pastor Taylor that this book is for “that little girl wrapped in an adult body no matter what age she is. While reading this touching testimony and road to discovery, she will develop a new found love for God and herself.  This book would also be a blessing to the men who love these women now.

I’m ready to read book two.  Here’s My Closing Note:  It’s time for the process of Forgiveness and Healing to begin forging God’s children in a new direction — by letting go of the past, so the love of Father God can begin to birth a new DESTINY in them.

Check it out for yourself and see what the Holy Spirit is saying to you.
